Create, Update and Remove Device Timer (deprecated)

PUT

/v1/device/:deviceUid/timer-settings

deprecated

This endpoint has been deprecated and may be replaced or removed in future versions of the API.

Deprecated. Use POST /v2/device/{deviceUid}/timer-settings to create a timer, PUT /v2/device/{deviceUid}/timer-settings/{timerLevel}/{timerType} to update it and DELETE on the same URL to remove it.

Sets when the device should wake up and when it should go to standby. The same request creates, updates and removes a timer.

The platform only accepts the request; the device applies it asynchronously. Follow the Link header of the response to see whether the device succeeded.

A timer with timeOn or timeOff must list at least one weekday, otherwise the device request fails.

How to remove a timer

Send the timer type and level with timeOn and timeOff set to null and weekdays set to an empty array.

The body may be sent as application/json or, unlike the rest of the API, as application/x-www-form-urlencoded (weekdays[0]=mon&weekdays[1]=tue); in the latter, volume and keepAppletRunning arrive as strings and an empty timeOn/timeOff counts as null.
