How to manually update Vestel Firmware

Prerequisites​

  • USB formatted to FAT32
  • Firmware files including .imi file, .img file and hdcpkeys folder

Update steps​

  1. Copy all of the files to the root folder of the USB
  2. Plug the USB into the device USB port
  3. Turn off the device by unplugging the power socket
  4. Press the OK button on the remote control and turn the power back to the device (the red led should be blinking on the bottom of the device)
  5. The device should start booting with information about updating the firmware
