2026-10-13 - REST API: List Limit Above the Maximum Will Be Rejected
info
Effective Date: January 1, 2027
What is changing
Every list endpoint of the REST API documents a maximum for its limit query parameter. Today, a limit above that maximum is
silently lowered to the maximum. From January 1, 2027, such a request is rejected with 400 Bad Request.
A limit below 1 is already rejected.
How to prepare
Send a limit no higher than the endpoint's maximum and fetch further pages through the Link response header (rel="next"). Omitting
limit returns a page of the maximum size.
