Remote desktop is available as a paid add-on for CloudControl Device Plans.
Similarly to other remote desktop programs such as TeamViewer with this feature you will be able to remotely control your device same as if you were physically present by the device and issuing commands through standard means (keyboard, mouse, RC etc.)
Please note: For Tizen and BrightSign Remote desktop functionality is only available within the scope of signageOS application, this means signageOS application has to be installed and running in forefront - if you navigate out of the application itself you will lose the remote access
Supported platforms
Following platforms are currently supporting Remote desktop feature, it is highly recommended to use latest Core App releases and to check minimal supported version for each platform supporting RD in changelog section

Accessing Remote desktop
In order to enable Remote desktop on your device make sure that minimal supported Core App is installed on your device then navigate to Box and open device detail
In the device detail tabs you can find "Remote desktop" tab through which you can access this feature.
On this screen you will find all the UI to control your device alongside with few utilities.
1. Start/Stop remote desktop
- Remote desktop is not running constantly, to start or stop a session you can use the Start/Stop button, upon starting the session you should start receiving live screenshots in short intervals right underneath the control panel
- Additional note: Each session is ended once you navigate out of the Remote desktop tab and will need to be re-started
2. Download current screenshot
- As you are using the Remote desktop you might want to perform a virtual "screenshot" of the current screen, for this purpose you can download the screenshot from currently displayed content
- Screenshots from each session are exclusive to that session only and will not be retroactively accessible through Screenshots tab
3. Rotate view
- In case you are running your device in a specific orientation (landscape/portrait or either of flipped orientations) you might want to rotate the current view, this option rotates the view 90 degrees clock-wise with each use covering all orientations
4. Control panel
- Through this UI you can navigate on any of your (supported) displays exactly as if you were physically present using your remote control
