Introduction
signageOS IoT Platform Gateway provides a single access point between a closed private network and the signageOS Cloud. It is a software gateway installable to any linux-based machine, preferably with the support of Docker.
signageOS IoT Platform Gateway uses websocket connection and HTTPS for communication with devices within the private network. For communication with the signageOS Cloud websockets or AMQP protocol are used.

Requirements:
- any linux based machine (best option is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS)
Node.js v8.x or v10.x- open ports
80and443within private network - open Internet-facing ports
443/5672 - if encrypted communication is required within the private network, private SSL certificate is needed
